We're joining the fight to combat hunger among Atlanta's homeless population. My mission is to join the fight against hunger with Metro Atlanta’s Task Force for the Homeless, by providing nutritious food and water on a consistent basis. Many homeless individuals find it difficult to gain employment or gain an education without having the very basic human necessities or the mentors to guide them.  Homelessness in America is a “revolving-door” crisis. Many people exit homelessness quickly, but many more individuals become homeless every day.

 

My sole purpose is to aid the existing efforts to combat hunger in Atlanta’s homeless community and help bring as much of the basic needs to our fellow humans, until long term help for them is provided.

With monetary and non perishable donations from those of companies such as cdi, Gelisha Taylor Inc. is able to provide the less fortunate community of homeless individuals with a very basic need. Specifically, their donation of perishable and nonperishable food items have been used to feed hundred of homeless individuals on a consistent basis.
